Who is this suitable for?

The Emergency First aid for Sport (RQF) qualification is aimed at those undertaking the role of an emergency First aider in a sporting environment, for example PE teachers and sports coaches.
The Qualification naturally meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981 (1982 NI)

Which candidates can attend?

This qualification is aimed at those who are acting as an emergency first aider in a sports setting.

When and where does the course take place?

This 7 hour course is typically delivered over one day. Training can take place at your workplace on a date and time to suit you. Alternatively, you can go ahead and book on one of our open courses which are perfectly suited to individuals looking to take part in this training.

Course syllabus

Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
Be able to assess an incident
Be able to provide first aid to
- an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
- an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
- a casualty who is choking
- casualty who is wounded or bleeding
- a casualty who is in shock
- a casualty with suspected injuries to bones, joints and muscles
- a casualty with a head injury

(discounted to £425 for 6 or fewer)*

*plus venue hire if not at your own premises

Individuals (open courses) £115

All costs include the provision of a First Aid
Manual as well as full certification.

7 hours guided learning – over 1 day
(excluding breaks)

Yes, and it is valid for 3 years
